I am a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Approved Supervisor. I hold degrees in Psychology from Mars Hill Graduate School and Texas Wesleyan University. For 10 years, I have worked in volunteer settings and in private practice, providing a listening ear and an open-ended context for people to imagine how life could be different or better. Most of my clients are high-functioning people who come into counseling to re-evaluate, re-invent, grieve, to let go, to become closer to a loved one, or to process difficult decisions or transitions. I make every effort to create an environment where clients feel safe to be honest, to express anger, sorrow, and disappointment without judgment. Together, we create a way through trying times that fits the client's unique personality and process.
